Master Photographer Peter Lik Releases Life’s Work in Quarter-century Celebratory Compilation

Limited Edition Book to Include Never Before Seen Images

Las Vegas, NV (May 27th, 2008) – This fall, acclaimed panoramic fine art photographer Peter Lik will release his most important piece to date: a limited edition compilation of his life’s work. The Peter Lik 25th Anniversary Book is a massive compilation of images taken over the course of his 25-year career. The 30 pound, 13.5” x 19.5” size book showcases over 500 of Lik’s favorite images, including hundreds of never-before-released pieces.

In addition to the signature images for which he has become famous, this limited-edition publication will contain images of Lik on location, historical information, and anecdotes from the artist himself. The book’s official release is scheduled for September, when it will be available for purchase at all Peter Lik galleries worldwide. Demand for the book is already acute, the first copy having pre-sold for $20,000.

“The past 25 years have taken me to the extremes of the earth, and it has all been captured in this compilation,” says Peter Lik, photographer and president of Peter Lik Fine Art Photography. “This anniversary book is my proudest accomplishment. It’s my life’s work and serves as a tribute to the world’s natural beauty.”

Each copy of the leather-bound Peter Lik 25th Anniversary Book is numbered and signed by Lik himself. The book is shipped and preserved in a cloth clam shell cover case with the image of one of Lik’s most famous pieces, Turn Scarlet, on the cover. The 580 pages are made of 100% recycled coated and vellum, FSC certified paper. Clear and vivid images appear to pop off the page as a result of the silk-screen spot UV, super gloss coating used solely on the photographs. In addition to his favorite images, this collector’s item will hold a 20-page journal section filled with Peter’s handwritten notes, sketches and diary entries, as well as maps, travel tickets and other memorabilia he collected in his travels over the past 25 years.

A self-taught artist, Lik is an internationally acclaimed fine art photographer and the world’s most awarded color landscape photographer. PETER LIK ASPEN GALLERY TO WELCOME THE UPCOMING FOOD AND WINE CLASSIC IN STYLE

PETER LIK Aspen Gallery, located in the Isis Building at 406 East Hopkins Avenue, is pleased to announce their First Annual Aspen Food and Wine Classic Kick-Off Party. FURTHER ACCOLADES FOR THE WORK OF PETER LIK

Peter Lik is proud to announce his submission in the annual Professional Photographers of America ‘Loan Collection 2007’ publication. A collection of the ‘Best of the Best’ from the PPA Print Competition, the ‘Loan Collection 2007’ showcases the greatest prints produced throughout the year 2007 including two of Peter’s most prolific works: ‘Heaven on Earth’ and ‘Blush’.

Selected from thousands of entries, Peter’s iconic images portray one of the most well known locations in America – the majesty of the Grand Canyon, along with a tranquil twilight scene shot from a pier in Urangan, Australia - Peter’s home country.

Peter Lik Expands South Florida Presence with Opening of Key West Gallery

Acclaimed landscape photographer Peter Lik has officially staked his claim on South Florida, opening a Key West gallery less than three months after the launch of his Miami location. This expansion not only marks an increased presence in Florida, but further establishes his continued growth on the East Coast, as well.

PETER LIK TO CELEBRATE FIVE YEAR ANNIVERSAY AT HIS LAHAINA GALLERY
