Internationally-acclaimed landscape photographer Peter Lik, was awarded a Top Ten prize from The North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA) for his work, "Pele's Whisper.” The moonlight shot of the Kilauea Volcano, on Kalapana, the Big Island of Hawaii, also received the distinction of being the first image to ever be featured as a wrap cover (front and back) for the association’s annual Expressions publication.

World famous and award-winning photographer Peter Lik has signed with NBC’s Peacock Productions to star in an action/adventure reality series currently in development. The announcement was made today by Sharon Scott, Executive Vice President of Peacock Productions.

AIPP Queensland (Australian Institute of Professional Photography) has awarded Peter Lik three more prestigious awards in its Professional Photographer of the Year Awards for 2010.
